 Stefanie Girard's art installation  "De Rigueur"  (required by etiquette or current fashion)   5 bullet proof vests - Thinker, Prayer, Vestment, Student, Malware with accoutrements    1st Place Winner, Sculture BAA Fall Show, Betsy Lueke Gallery, Burbank CA The reception was on Halloween and we were encouraged to come in costume.    I came representing one of the murdered cartoonists from the mass-murder event at the publication Charlie Hebdo office.     Close-ups of the 5 bullet proof vests with machine embroidered words, "Thinker", "Prayer", "Vestment", "Student", and "Malware".   "Vestment" Bullet proof vest with the Play "God Of Carnage", A Rosary and Holy Water.  "Thinker" bullet proof vest with The US Constitution and an "I Voted" sticker.  "Prayer" Bullet proof vest art  and the book " A Spiritual Almanac for Wartime " along with a bible and mezuzah.    ...
